Fact: wine is thicker than water.
Last week, Envisionit held its annual Wine Cellar Build. One part wine tasting, one part competition, this event was designed to help our team unwin(e)d.
It went down like this: each participant brought two bottles of their favorite wine. One bottle from each entry was disguised in a classy brown paper bag and numbered. Participants then sampled the wine and voted for their favorites. Spittoons were provided for the most discerning palates and scrumptious appetizers were served for all the other ones.
Stakes were high—the people with the best wine got to go home with all of the unopened bottles from the tasting, so everyone brought their A-game.
