Red Gold, Ripe for Change, Picks envisionit as New Retail AOR

Envisionit announced today that it has been named retail agency of record by Indiana-based, Red Gold, Inc. for its master brand, Red Gold Tomatoes.

Envisionit and Red Gold have been working diligently over the course of the past few months to ensure the Chicago-based agency assumes all digital marketing responsibilities for Red Gold’s FY19, beginning August 2018.

Red Gold had initially engaged envisionit in 2016 to promote their newly introduced partnership with Huy Fong—Sriracha Tomatoes—a line of products created as a way to tap new Red Gold Tomatoes fans beyond their more traditional family-based customers. When results of the initial Huy Fong campaign, “Make Bold Choices” exceeded expectations, Red Gold continued to expand their engagement with envisionit.

According to Tim Campsall, Director of Marketing at Red Gold, “Our primary objectives for FY 19 include disrupting our competitive user’s routine and informing them of Red Gold’s superior quality and taste, and providing recipes that fit the needs of our target consumer—thus inspiring them to make Red Gold a part of their mealtime traditions. Based on what envisionit has been able to do for us this far, we know we’ve selected the right partner to help us achieve these.”
