The newest addition to our destination marketing dream team

We’re excited to announce the arrival of a crucial new member of our strategic development team. Erin White joins Envisionit with 15 years professional experience in the DMO space, including roles in marketing, media relations, and meeting sales/services.

“As we look to further expand the agency’s presence in the destination community, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Erin join the charge,” says Jason Goldberg, Chief Relationship Officer. “She brings an invaluable infusion of DMO experience and industry relationships that will continue to elevate the agency and provide a consultative voice to our destination clients.”

Erin comes to us after a long tenure leading marketing and sales for Visit Bloomington. Highlights of her time there include assisting with the launch of a new destination brand, overseeing record-setting visitation campaigns, producing award-winning visitors guides, and managing events that drove tourism in shoulder seasons.

Erin’s career has also included being named to the inaugural class of Destination International’s  “30 Under 30” honorees and working in meetings sales and services, where she built lifelong relationships with meeting and event planners.

The entire Envisionit team is beyond thrilled to welcome Erin White to our growing ranks!

What is your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
Tough question but I’d have to say Isla Mujeres, Mexico. It’s a tiny island off the coast of  Cancun, it’s just 1 mile wide by 5 miles long and accessible only by ferry. It’s a beautiful mix of crashing waves, unbelievable calm, turquoise waters, and quaint restaurants that produce unbelievably delicious meals. It’s a snorkeler’s paradise, too.

What do you love about the destination marketing industry?
The industry is filled with committed folks who are truly passionate about making the place they call home a fantastic place for travelers to experience. Destinations are constantly evolving and without the assistance of tourism marketing, we wouldn’t see small businesses thrive and grow.  The ecosystem of prosperity that DMOs assist in creating is remarkable and quite frankly underappreciated.

What is the top destination on your list that you haven’t traveled to yet?
Too many places to count. I’ve traveled extensively through the US/North America but haven’t yet visited much of Europe or Asia. If I had to pick one place I’m most excited about discovering it would be Santorini, Greece.

What excites you about working with Envisionit?
I’m most excited to bring my 15+ years of experience in the destination space to clients who are looking to amplify their efforts and grow visitation by utilizing the resources of the incredibly talented folks who run creative, media, and data efforts at Envisionit. The opportunity to support innovation, change, and growth in the DMO world is thrilling.
