The Paid Search Specialist works alongside our Paid Search Manager in the day-to-day management of all Paid Search campaigns, as well as their integration with other agency disciplines. They will assist in developing and implementing campaigns, daily management and optimization, as well as ongoing reporting. Our ideal candidate will be data-driven, solution-focused and prepared to handle the execution and optimization of designated accounts.

Role POV:

I am the day-to-day campaign manager and responsible for tactical execution of the paid search program that was created for a client. I ensure we deliver on each of the program’s commitments and maintain a high quality of work. I am energized by uncovering new ideas and presenting them to the Paid Search Manager for review. I believe we can always do better for our clients and am committed to discovering opportunities. I partner closely with the manager to maintain strong alignment on our programs.”

Core Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Paid Search Manager to drive client-specific paid search objectives, strategies, and insights;
  • Translate business and marketing goals into paid search programs;
  • Assist with and execute upon the paid search campaign strategy development and implementation;
  • With guidance from the Paid Search Manager, oversee:
    • Bid management;
    • Developing, maintaining, optimizing keyword sets;
    • Determine competitive sets and analysis;
    • Initiating and guiding landing page strategies;
    • Writing and optimizing paid search ad copy;
    • A/B testing;
  • Communicate campaign performance to clients and present reports (for designated accounts as required);
  • Expand upon reporting structure and measurement;

Requirements:

  • BA degree in marketing or similar discipline
  • 1+ years (post-internship) of experience in paid search
  • Strong proficiency with Google and Bing platforms; and familiarity with third party platforms (e.g. Kenshoo)
  • Previous success executing paid search programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage projects from beginning to end
  • At ease working with and presenting to clients as required
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience running Paid Social campaigns is a plus
