Coming to the end of April brings us almost fully a third of the way into this year’s NASCAR schedule, which means Envisionit is in the thick of designs, strategy, and planning for this year’s campaign with our friends at Chicagoland Speedway.

This season has brought a few new challenges for both the team at the Speedway as well as our growing cohort of internal NASCAR experts. Race day at the Joliet-based track moved from September to the weekend immediately preceding the 4th of July (June 28-July 1). Not to mention that the sport is in the midst of a changing of the guard — longtime drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Danica Patrick, and Matt Kenseth being replaced by up and coming potential new stars like Alex Bowman, Bubba Wallace (the sport’s first full-time African-American driver in over 40 years), and Erik Jones.

In response to these new developments, our team has fully revamped our creative campaign, bringing patriotic embellishments and new sense of speed to our “Windy City, Racing City” concept. We’ve updated footage, design, and copywriting, to emphasize the return to Chicagoland Speedway’s traditional midsummer festival.

Here are some new display units our team developed:

We’re very excited with the result and we hope you’ll join us for a weekend of camping, music, good food, and racing out in Joliet this summer. Follow Chicagoland Speedway for updates on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram and buy your tickets today!
